Umpire/Rules Clinic

We are having our pre-season Umpire clinic on Sunday, March 28th, from 1-4, at the fields. Please send at least one representative from your team,....even, if it's a willing parent! We want to give you the knowledge and confidence you need, to not be strangled by Grandma after your Umpire duties. 😂

We will have it outside, under the awning of the concession stand.

Weather permitting, we will have basic field mechanics, as well as plate umpire safety training available to those interested to stay for a little bit after the meeting. We'll make this as quick as possible. Quick training on where to be positioned in the field when runners are on, and "Slot" training for the plate umpire. Being in the slot, will keep you from being hit by most foul balls. If you can't stay for the mechanics, but would still like some training, I would be glad to arrange that with you, at a later time.

However, I don't have any advice to protect you from a catcher, who can't catch. 😂

We will be covering the high points of the rule book, most common game occurrences, and going over new rules for the 2021 season.
Please ask ANY questions you may have, concerning a rule or a situation. Some rules can be easily misunderstood. We will be glad to help clear up any misunderstanding.
